Many of the orchestral arrangements recorded by Scott Walker were never intended to be performed live. Having been involved with a previous BBC Prom celebrating the songs of Scott Walker, this new concert puts Father John Misty front and centre to deliver some of Scott Walkers greatest songs in a performance with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. For this concert, I was once again part of Jules Buckley’s arranging team, and was asked to transcribe and adapt the orchestral arrangements for “Sleepwalkers Woman” and “The Electrician”.
